Our Dive Center has been open for nine years in the Riviera Maya. The Dive center is located in the Royal Haciendas Hotel north of Playa del Carmen.

We offer PADI certifications and fun dives in the world’s second biggest reef. The Dive center is located just five to ten minutes from the best dive sites off of Playa del Carmen.

Professional and fun dive staff is there for you to guarantee safe dives with bull sharks!

BULL SHARKS

bullsharkplaya10

The female bull sharks come to the Riviera Maya every winter to breed and then dive into deeper waters. You have the chance to see them from November to February. Female bull sharks migrate just off of Playa del Carmen.

When these female bull sharks are ready to give birth to the little ones they move to another location. The females go close to fresh water when they are ready to give birth.

They generally eat fish, but they have been known to eat turtles, birds, dolphins, land-based animals and sometimes even other sharks.
